If you have been sharing yoga with children and teens, you have been probably using breathing practices in your classes. Now more than ever, it is beneficial to dive deeper and learn about the therapeutic benefits of breathwork for children, tweens and teens. Join Ayala in this fun, experimental, 3 part workshop exploring the process of breathing, the autonomic nervous system and the relationship between stress and breath. Ponder on the question: does taking deep breath means breathing better? Find creative ways how to support children’s wellbeing and their carers through breathwork by making the knowledge and the practices accessible in your classes using breathing practices, art related activities and more. This is an interactive workshop with opportunities to share practices with one another in breakout rooms, so you will be invited to have your camera on during the workshop to make the most out of it. Please have with you A4 papers, scissors and some coloured pens and space to move. Upon completion of the workshop you will receive an e-certificate noting that you are accredited with 4.5 CPD point. An access for recording will be available for 6 days.
