Scarves are fantastic accessories to use in an imaginary play activity with children.


As the weekend approaches, grab some shiny scarves, give them to your child, put on their favorite music and you will be surprised to see how many different ideas your child comes up with as to how to use the scarves in their imaginary play.

I spent the morning yesterday working on my computer at a coffee shop.  The screen had our illustrated owl image saying "Follow us on FACEBOOK", with the Facebook word being in bold.

Some phrases stick with you for years.


One such phrase is something my legendary design professor said in class about 20 years ago.  Of course, this is the only piece of memory I have from that class of his, but this is what counts, no?
